The Naval civil

timber piling. Full size polyurethane-coated and polyenthylene-wrapped plings have been installed in the Port Of Los Angeles.
All inspection reports indicate no failures of attachment of hardware,no adhesion loss,and no visible borer damage to the
plastic wrapped or coated wood after more than 16 years . New York harbor has saved millions of dollars by using this
protection
system on thousands of dock pilings .
